Day 1: The best Salsa of the world - Carpa Delirio:

'De Vuelta Al Ritmo' (Back to the rhythm) is a Salsa show, full of speed, color, shine and the sensuality of Cali. This activity is available the last Friday of each month and from the 26th to the 30th of December, it could be custom suited for groups over 10 people. We could pick you up at the airport or your hotel. We recommend these hotels: Spwiak, Hilton o Viajero Hostel (we could help you with a reservation). Around 6.30pm to 7.30pm we'll be leaving the hotel, the activity starts at 7pm and goes up to 2pm. We'll wait for you at the door of the event to take you back to your place of dwelling.

Includes: Orientation, transportation and the event tickets. The food and the drinks are not included.

Bring: Dancing clothes, money for food and/or drinks.

Day 2: Sugar, Religion & Architecture:

We'll be leaving Cali during the morning time with destination Buga. On our way we'll visit the Hacienda El Paraíso, national architectonical heritage. Home of Jorge Isaacs famous novelist whom was inspired by this scenario to write his master piece, La María. Here we'll talk about the history of sugar cane in the region and the novelist life.

Then we'll be heading towards Buga where we'll check in at our Hotel San Telmo, and then we'll go for a typical lunch of the area. In the afternoon we could rest or take a small religious tour nearby the Hotel, Buga is home of 'El Milagroso' (The one that makes miracles happen) therefore is a touristic destination for locals specially catholics. At sunset we'll take a simple walk to appreciate the local architecture, the sunset and a lovely view of Cauca's Valley.

Includes: Transportation, tickets to Hacienda El Paraíso, lunch, religous tour and walk at sunset.

Duration: All day.

Day 3: Wakecup Tour by Experiencia Cafetera, Coffee Tour:

We'll be leaving Buga around 8.00am, we'll be arriving at Pijao at 10.30am, where we'll be enjoying the Wakecup Tour by Experiencia Cafetera that is an experience that invites travelers and coffee producers to exchange their knowledge about coffee.

During the day we will visit a traditional coffee farm where we will be able to witness the entire coffee process, how it starts off as seeds and ends up in your cup. We will have a Colombian lunch at the farm and then we will return to Pijao, where we will visit key places within the coffee distribution and consumption chain. We will visit El Patio, where we will learn about medicinal plants that are used all around the world as we enjoy a natural infusion for our wellness. We will walk around town, meet picturesque characters and we’ll finish off with coffee tasting, sampling different delicious types of coffees from the region. This experience will unravel a whole new perspective of coffee for you to see, no matter your previous knowledge on the subject.

Includes: Bilingual guides, 4x4 panoramic experience (in Jeep), typical Colombian lunch of the coffee region, coffee tasting

What to bring?: Comfortable walking shoes, insect repellent, sun block. In the tour you have the possibility to buy amazing coffees directly from the producer, CASH ONLY!

The closest hotel to our activities that we recommend is Casa Rivera del Cacao (a new jewel), the one with best service and fame is Hacienda Bambusa, the one with best design is Bio Habitat and the one with the best price is Hacienda La Luisa. Día 4: Salento and the Cocora Valley Daytrip

Salento is a cultural bridge between locals and foreigners that provides an exceptional exchange experience.

We will meet in this charming town to take the road towards the legendary Cocora Valley. Once we’re there, we’ll take a hike where we can appreciate the landscape and the gorgeous wax palms, known for their great beauty and magnitude. After this, we will go back to the town where we can enjoy a delicious typical lunch, trout and fried plantain (a specialty of this mythical town). We will have a stroll around Salento. The municipality is also recognized for its elaborate crafts that are offered along the Calle Real. After familiarizing ourselves a bit more with the town we will visit a coffee shop where we will chat and enjoy the softest coffee in the world. If you’re curious enough, the baristas of this region will happily answer any questions you might have about coffee and its preparation. This experience will make you a witness to the intrinsic natural beauty of this town.

The price depends on the included services, they start from $1.750.000 COP per person, without the Salsa experience (also does not includes Hotel in Cali or in Quindío), or from $2.550.000 per person including Delirio (this price does not includes Hotel in Cali or in Quindío).
